We have recently presented the permission of the fountain restoration to the Committee of Monuments. Restoration of the fountain is going to be carried out by Municipility of Fatih. Our project is going to be over when the Fountain of Republic is restorated.

When our project is completed, first of all, we’re going to organize a trip with a group of representatives, to see our fountain ( because it’s our fountain now ) on its place after it’s restorated.

We’re planning to distribute brochures about the things we did to the people living in that area and want their support in the protection of the fountain. We also want to contact with the press and inform them about everything we did. We did everything we could but there are still hundreds of fountains and many historical things to be restorated which belong to us and the humanity.

We’re determined to do as much as we can to establish a sensitivity about this in the society. Our website is also a big oppurtunity to reach people.
