In music activities students acquire hearing skills, rhythm; develop creativity, language, self- confidence, self- expression. They learn about musical instruments and how to use their bodies; recognize their abilities; sing together; and take on the habit of doing tasks together by participating in the following activities:

  • Body percussion (Orff schulwerk)
  • Rhythm activities
  • Drama
  • Singing lessons / instruction
  • Being introduced to composers
  • Choir

Moreover, selected students r are guided to learn how to play piano.

Through the Sibelius Groovy programme (an international music system) music technologies are introduced and used in education.
