Mathematics

The Mathematics classes aim to raise students who comprehend and use mathematical concepts, build connections among mathematics and other disciplines and daily life, and have sophisticated reasoning, guessing, comparing, and problem- solving skills.

The concepts and rules in the Grade 1 Mathematics Programme are so closely inter-related that learning needs to become concrete by being supported with examples and practices. The objective is to render mathematics a class that is loved, understood, and can be applied to daily life. Students are involved actively in the process through interactive games and concrete materials.

The mathematics curriculum covers numbers, geometry, measurement, and data learning. Classes are planned by taking into consideration the learning experience, level of development, and individual differences of students.
