Grade 4 Students’ Achievement at Cambridge ESOL Flyers

On June 9 Grade 4 students sat the Cambridge English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Flyers test, which was given in more than 500 institutions in Turkey and tested English skills on an international scale. The students scored an average of 4.01 and had an achievement, which was above the averages in both Turkey and Istanbul.

Cambridge Young Learners exam tests language skills with a reliable and valid assessment. The Flyers test taken by our Grade 4 students is equivalent to A2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. By 2013 – 2014 academic year this test was being given to Grade 5 students and following the developments and new practices in the English Department the test is now being given to Grade 4 students.
