Our Animation Film Made to The Boston International Kids Film Festival!

The animation titled “I am Here!” on the segregation of physically disabled which was created by our Grade 3 students from the Levent Campus with the supervision of our Stop Motion teacher Damla Kukul within the framework of Children’s Rights Project was entitled to be shown at the Boston International Kids Film Festival on November 7 – 9 at the Somerville Theatre in the Boston Davis Square. 50 films were chosen among nearly 150 films and shown at this festival. Our film was nominated for Short Film and Children’s Films.

The film starts with Deniz, a disabled kid who goes to a playground in a nice neighborhood to play with other kids. When Deniz arrives at the playground, all kids become aware of the fact that the playground has been not designed in an appropriate way that would allow disabled kids to play there as well and the story continues.
