A group of our 7th-grade Spanish students from our Tepeören Campus has been awarded the “National Quality Label” for their participation in the international eTwinning project, “Conectores Comunitarios: Bridging Worlds, Building Skills,” conducted during the 2025–2026 academic year in collaboration with partner schools from Italy and Turkey.
Designed to support students in applying their Spanish language skills within real-life contexts, the project enabled our students to connect with peers from various cities via the TwinSpace platform. Together, they explored themes such as urban and community life, nature and sustainability, and sports and healthy living. Throughout the project, the students utilized digital tools to create collaborative projects, gained insight into different cultures, and developed their ability to communicate in Spanish with their peers through video conferences.
The teachers and students involved in our project—which was awarded the “National Quality Label”—received their certificates on Wednesday, September 30, at our Tepeören Campus from Dr. Saadet Tarakçı, Private Şişli Terakki Tepeören Middle School Principal.
The students who participated in the project include: Alper Kerem Aynur (7A), Sevim Deniz Edebey (7A), Eslina Su Yılmaz (7A), Hayat Altay (7B), Evrim Osmanoğlu (7B), Ada Akyelken (7C), Çınar Akbal (7C), Emir Çalışkan (7C), Deniz İzmir Oktay (7C), Aksel Yılmazer (7C), Mira Taşdemir (7D), Miray Okuyucu (7D), Bora Özer (7D), and Defne Kotan (7D).
